The kids are grown, but I still color!!

I just love the fact that crafting involves coloring!  I used to love to sit and color with the kids when they were younger.  So when it comes to crafting with colors, I'm in :)  Brings back such good memories.

Today's post is all about coloring.  I came across a post on The Scrapbooking Queen's blog saying that she was looking for designers who wanted to be a part of a new design team.  This team will be creating projects using coloring pages/images.  To apply for the team, we were asked to color and create a project using the little pony seem below:

The pony is the focal point of this card. She sends a
"Howdy" out to the recipient to brighten his/her day!
This sentiment, as well as the grass, were cut from the
Create a Critter Cricut cartridge.

The image was first colored using Photoshop (image on the left).  Next, the image was imported into the Silhouette cutting machine software.  An offset or border/shadow was added to give the image extra pop.  The image was also inked to bring more life to the final product (image on the right).

Thank you for stopping by today.

Until next time, which hopefully won't be long!
