Creating for a Cause

It seems like just yesterday that I had a hard time believing it was January.  And now February is upon us!  Does anyone else seem to think that time is just flying by?

Time to get crafting for the I Feel the Love Project!  As you know, the I Feel the Love Project collects and sends handcrafted cards to individuals, families, and groups who are experiencing a difficult time in their life/lives.

For the month of February 2014, we are collecting uplifting, cheerful greeting cards for the sweet kids spending time at Santa Monica UCLA medical Center.  These kids were chosen to be a part of this project by Ms. Ashley, a two time cancer patient who has herself received care at this facility. Click HERE to read all the details and learn how you can be a part to this fabulous project.

This card was made using the QT Patootie Pumpkin Pickin' Friends Digi Stamp.  This and other adorable digi stamps and cutting files, can be found at Paper Crafting World.com.

The tags were made using the Silhouette cutting machine.  You can write/type any words in any font that you have on your computer and then cut around them in any shape.  As you can see here, the words prayers, hugs, and love were computer generated and then added to a label cutting file.  Super easy and really cute.

I love adding ribbon, floss, buttons... to my cards.  The embellishments on this card included red and while striped twine and a fun button!

Thank you for stopping by today.

Until next time.

Cindy
