Crafting for Amazing Kids!

Ever since Madison started college and moved into her own apartment, I have found myself in the craft room more and more.  Partly because I have time on my hands, and mainly just because I miss her!!  We used to sit and create for hours on end together.  The least I can do is create for her non-profit, the I Feel the Love Project

I am on a mission to create as many cards as I can for this month's  I Feel the Love Project!  As you know, the I Feel the Love Project collects and sends handcrafted cards to individuals, families, and groups who are experiencing a difficult time in their life/lives.

For the month of February 2014, we are collecting uplifting, cheerful greeting cards for the sweet kids spending time at Santa Monica UCLA medical Center.  These kids were chosen to be a part of this project by Ms. Ashley, a two time cancer patient who has herself received care at this facility. Click HERE to read all the details and learn how you can be a part to this fabulous project.

We believe the kids at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center are all superstars.  I found this printed paper with various colored stars and knew I wanted to use it on this card.

The adorable (SVG) girl was cut using the Silhouette.  To incorporate the LOVE we feel for these kids, we used a dress that was designed with red hearts!!

The sentiment, "With God all things are possible," comes from the "Faith" Pink By Design stamp set.

I am entering this card in the following challenge:

Love to Create Challenge Blog - Red and/or Pink
Crafting By Designs- Anything Goes
Creative Cutting Challenge - Love/Die cut

Thank you for stopping by today.  It is nice to be in the craft room even if alone!  The life of an empty nester :)

Until next time.
